Shelter Neck UU Camp
3747 Croomsbridge Road, Burgaw, NC

Owned and maintained by the Universalist Convention of North Carolina, Inc.

The Shelter Neck camp facilities consist of the chapel, the farmhouse (Dix building), and the school building (Williams Hall). There are two "bunk rooms" (for teens), three bedrooms, two baths and a meeting room in the schoolhouse. The farmhouse has two bedrooms and three baths downstairs as well as the kitchen, dining room, and parlor. Upstairs the farmhouse has four more bedrooms. Most bedrooms in both buildings have two double beds.
These make a total of eleven bedrooms sleeping from 37 (one per single and double bed) to 54 (two per double bed).

At this time, the camp has NO staff
. Only volunteers. All buildings are closed and locked when not in use. If necessary, UCONCI will provide a host to assist in opening the camp and to orient the renting group. The renter is responsible for setting up for its event and cleaning the facility after its event. The host will lock and secure the camp afterwards -- see the Use Agreement.
Sorry, but at this time, we can welcome NO INDIVIDUAL VISITORS apart from a group.
